Literacy:


Today, we are going to do some writing about a very special person ... our MOM!  Can you think of the things that make your mom special?  On the card below, with the help of dad or an older brother or sister, write 5 things that you love about your mom.  Here are some ideas ...



Math:

Today is the 7th day of May.  How many different ways can we show the number 7?  Lets do this together!



We have learned about 2, 3D shapes so far, the cube and the sphere.  Here is a riddle for our 3rd 3D shape!

I have 2 faces, one curved and one flat.
I have one vertice (point).
I can roll, but only in a circle.
I can often be found holding a scoop or two of ice cream.
What am I?

Good Morning! Let's learn about ants ...
